Even though I have not gotten my act together to actually DO a holiday photo card, I love getting them (so please don’t take me off of your list!) Until recently, I didn’t have a good way to display them. I tried putting them on the refrigerator, but I ran out of room very quickly. Also, the current fashion is to print them on thick card stock, and my magnets just can’t hack it. I tried to prop them up on my mantle for extra “Christmas Decor,” but a kid would run by and blow them over, and I would have to reposition them almost daily.
It wasn’t until I bought a beautiful throw blanket, wrapped in several feet of grow grain ribbon, that I figured out the perfect system.
Materials you will need:
- 2 yards of grosgrain ribbon (approximately 2 inch diameter)
- straight pins
